At the very beginning of the film the sword moves down off-screen and all that can be seen is the decorated hilt of the sword. Eventually it changes to a sculpture, a cornerstone, a fish and many other objects depending on who comes across it. At the very end of the film we find out that the sword is stuck in the belly of a dead man. The allegory on ignorance of people who enjoy their life to those who are suffering or dying at the very same instant.
